Atlantic Salmon Fishing On the Renowned Miramichi River

Harris Fishing Lodge is located right on the Main Southwest Miramichi River on Route 118, just a few miles down river from Blackville, New Brunswick, Canada! This Government inspected and fully licensed camp is set back in the Pines and overlooks one of the most scenic pools in Canada. The Lodge offers clean and comfortable accommodations for up to six anglers, along with the friendly hospitality for which New Brunswickers are famous!
The fishing season runs from mid-April through mid-October. The spring season is mostly fished from boats for the Salmon returning to the sea after ice-out. The summer season begins in late June for Bright Salmon and Grilse. September kicks off the fall run
of Salmon returning to their home rivers to spawn. The continuous pods of fish passing by the Harris Fishing Lodge should be more than enough to keep the most demanding Fly Fisherman enthusiastic and excited!
Relax at meal time and through the large picture window, watch the Salmon rolling in the river. Enjoy the warmth and hospitality provided by the Curtis family. Savour the home cooked food prepared in the incomparable New Brunswick tradition. If you look closely, you may have the opportunity to share this incredible experience with Eagles, Osprey, Moose, Deer and an occasional Lynx.
The Harris Fishing Lodge also provides some of Canada's most experienced professional fishing guides. Three generations of world-class guides have attended to, and provided advice to, some of the world's most famous anglers - as well as to some of the very best! We welcome beginners as well as seasoned experts.
Included in your stay are full accommodations, all meals, transportation on the river, and courteous, friendly guides. Not included in your fee are gratuities, transportation to & from the lodge, fishing licenses, tackle or alcoholic beverages. (Licenses, gear and transportation to/from local airports can be provided for an additional fee).
While you are visiting with us or if other family members would like to explore local activities such as boat tours, whale watching, canoeing or kayaking - possibly a day trip across the longest ocean coldwater bridge in the world to Prince Edward Island and the legendary home of "Anne of Green Gables" - then this can be arranged for you.
